Who we are
PokéBinder is an independently operated personal project. If you have questions or requests about your data, contact pokebindercompany@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you sign in and use PokéBinder, we collect and store:
- Your Google account email address, display name, and profile image (received via Google OAuth when you sign in).
- Your card collection data: which cards you own or want, binder configurations, deck lists, and wishlists.
- Card scan images you upload for AI-assisted card identification and grading.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the PokéBinder service to you:
- Your account information identifies you and personalises your experience.
- Card scan images are sent to Google Gemini AI for card identification and condition grading. Google processes these images under their own privacy terms.
- Card names are looked up against the pokemontcg.io API to retrieve card details and pricing data.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Data retention & deletion
Your data is stored as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account. This immediately and irreversibly removes your collection, scans, binders, decks, uploaded images, and all other personal data.
For manual data access or deletion requests, contact pokebindercompany@gmail.com.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (also available in-app).
- Object to or restrict processing of your data.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, contact pokebindercompany@gmail.com.
Security
All connections to PokéBinder are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access is authenticated through Google OAuth. We do not store Google passwords.
